Needy Families Living on the Outskirts of Mogadishu Receive Meat Donations on the First Day of Eid al-Adha

On the first day of the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha, some Somali philanthropists delivered meat donations to needy families living in a camp on the outskirts of Mogadishu.

The donation, which was intended to bring joy to vulnerable communities during the Eid celebrations, reached around 75 families consisting of men, women, and underprivileged children who are facing difficult living conditions.

The philanthropists who took part in the charitable initiative were:

  • Sheikh Cabdirahiim Cali Xaaji
  • Muxidiin

These generous individuals donated three goats to the community. The animals were slaughtered, and the meat was distributed among the struggling families.

Some of the families who received the aid expressed great happiness and thanked the donors for their support and assistance during the Eid holiday.

Officials who supervised the distribution stated that the purpose of the initiative was to share the joy of Eid al-Adha with disadvantaged communities and to strengthen unity, compassion, and mutual support within Somali society.

Finally, the philanthropists called on the Somali people and all kind-hearted individuals to continue supporting vulnerable families, especially during the blessed festive seasons.
